Truck picture thread dmbrisket 51 09-19-2005, 01:22 AM
i FINALLY got the pix of my truck after paint, int. comming soon, the blazer forum has a blazer picture thread, so lets make this the truck picture thread... c'mon lets see um http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b316/Dmbrisket_51/Picture082.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b316/Dmbrisket_51/Picture136.jpg balls_to_the_wall 09-19-2005, 02:22 AM Wow, awsome truck man. If i had a pic of my truck I would be embarassed to post it after such a awsome ride. Ok imagine an 89 S-10 Ext Cab, rusty wheels, new tires. Rust on every body panel but one (the hood which has a dent that i don't know where the heck it came from). Its black, and is Always dirty, and the passenger door is a different shade of black, and has no trim. That is my truck. -Ryan dmbrisket 51 09-19-2005, 07:43 AM hey, its yours, if you want somethin new looken, pick up some sand papper, and paint, it realy isn't all that hard to do....and thanks for the complement, ive put a lot of time and money into the damn thing balls_to_the_wall 09-19-2005, 02:44 PM I have started on body work... It just seems like its a never ending task. I want to get new fenders, hood, bed, and doors. Then all I have to fix is the extended cab part where it is rusted through. Paint it charchoal with black racing stripes (do all the work myself). Then 96+ engine/trans and seats. That is my plan, I hope to work on it more this summer, when I'm back at home where the shop is, but I am broke as #%$& now...college sucks in that respect. later -Ryan mike1224 09-19-2005, 04:04 PM OMFG DMBRISTKET.... at first i was pissed that you were getting rid of the dark blue, but that is awesome. mike1224 09-19-2005, 04:11 PM heres mine sunroof from outside: http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/182030P1010009-med.JPG sunroof from inside: http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/182030P1010007-med.JPG my messy truck: http://img250.imageshack.us/img250/7702/p10100163iu.jpg (http://imageshack.us) Front: http://img358.imageshack.us/img358/6072/p10100063pd.jpg (http://imageshack.us) side: [img=http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/3385/p10100051fe.jpg] (http://imageshack.us) more to come, after i get more time. dmbrisket 51 09-19-2005, 07:33 PM yeah, i noted that mike, but i had started the int with black already, so i had to do somehting to offset black besides blue... and yes b_t_t_w i know that college sucks in that way, that was my delma, but a year later this is where i am from stock, but i cheated, i owe mommie some money, she fwd. me the money for the drop kit and rims dmbrisket 51 09-19-2005, 07:35 PM btw, love the e- sunroof, mines only a std one but it was top of the line when new... its 8 years old and my buddies think its brand freaking new mike1224 09-19-2005, 08:11 PM black int??? omg tets trade trucks! mines std cad too, thats why i got the spoiler model sunroof. (well, it was aready there when i bought it.) does your sunroof flip up, or does it give it some open area? mike1224 09-19-2005, 08:27 PM Future mod??? yes, i'm a bit disturbed. http://img379.imageshack.us/img379/9309/crazys105co.jpg (http://imageshack.us) maybe this?? http://img364.imageshack.us/img364/4625/crazys10withgun7vi.jpg (http://imageshack.us) ok. i not really going to do any of these things, of course, but to see the expressions of peoples faces when the blade starts moving, or the turret begins taking aim. dmbrisket 51 09-19-2005, 11:16 PM it pops up low pro, pops up all the way for max vent, and is removable OverBoardProject 09-19-2005, 11:59 PM I know that it's a Blazer, but since I'm never on the Blazer site I hope that you'll forgive me. I can remove my pics if you want. When I got it http://mypage.uniserve.ca/%7Ekvsbt/Blazer/4x4%20truck.jpg Now http://mypage.uniserve.ca/%7Ekvsbt/Blazer/DSC01086.JPG Not that easy to see in these photo's, but my rear drivers tire has daylight under it, and my front passangers tire is almost airborn. Just a pebble under it http://mypage.uniserve.ca/%7Ekvsbt/Blazer/DSC01115.JPG http://mypage.uniserve.ca/%7Ekvsbt/Blazer/DSC01113.JPG http://mypage.uniserve.ca/%7Ekvsbt/Blazer/DSC01112.JPG I still have to take pic's of the interior and I might add them as early as tomorrow dmbrisket 51 09-20-2005, 12:01 AM as i said b4, beautiful OverBoardProject 09-20-2005, 12:10 AM Doug, That's 1 SWEET ride! I love the paint and it was worth the extra time spent. Too bad that we'll have to yank the seat out of the box to fit that 670hp motor back there :evillol: OverBoardProject 09-20-2005, 12:13 AM Mike. How about the tank in the front, and the other mean machine in the back ? I like your truck, nice sun roof. balls_to_the_wall 09-20-2005, 01:12 AM I love that sun roof, that is awsome. I never knew they came with sun roofs... Awsome vehicle there man. -Ryan mike1224 09-20-2005, 09:28 AM thanks overboard, i gotta do a little touch-up paint, but other than that its a great looking truck. Still need to put on an exhaust, i want to do dual, but i think thats going to wait till after winter. mike1224 09-20-2005, 09:36 AM i've had some issues with my windows and the police, are these really too dark?? Maybe i've gotten used to 'em! i can see IN just fine too. http://img306.imageshack.us/img306/473/p10100140es.jpg (http://imageshack.us) Pics of subs and amp coming soon, bought a custom made dual 12" sub enclosure the other day on ebay. mike1224 09-20-2005, 09:41 AM I love that sun roof, that is awsome. I never knew they came with sun roofs... Awsome vehicle there man. -Ryan its aftermarket. I fell in love with that sunroof as soon as i saw it at the dealer. (that and the dark-a$$ windows). OverBoardProject 09-20-2005, 11:16 AM I do like dark windows, but I understand the cops point. They want to be able to clearly see the driver while driving. See if they look too wasted to drive safely. My Blazer windows are the factory tint, so they can't say much. mike1224 09-20-2005, 04:41 PM i've seen so many s-10 single cabs with them around that darkness. Not saying for sure that they have been as dark. hell i like them because of the look. i have no reason to be hiding a gun in my lap waiting for the next police officer, why do i need to, when that turret is attatched to my truck? Bads Crew 09-20-2005, 07:16 PM My Ride http://www.s-10crewcab.com/coppermine/albums/userpics/10106/DSC00709%20%28Small%29.JPG mike1224 09-20-2005, 07:17 PM i've never seen a shell on the crew cab before, looks great Bads Crew 09-20-2005, 07:24 PM Thanks. Since that pic I have added 1.5 wheel spacers on the rear and Bilstein Shocks. This helped raze it and make the rear wider. I am going to do a 2" body lift and go with 17" wheels as soon as I can swing the $$$$. dmbrisket 51 09-20-2005, 08:32 PM i've seen so many s-10 single cabs with them around that darkness. Not saying for sure that they have been as dark. hell i like them because of the look. i have no reason to be hiding a gun in my lap waiting for the next police officer, why do i need to, when that turret is attatched to my truck? you don't but someone somewhere does OverBoardProject 09-20-2005, 09:19 PM Nice truck Bads Crew. I hope that you don't mind that I'm posting your truck picture, just making it easier for others to see. This is Bads truck, and it lives up to it's name! http://www.s-10crewcab.com/coppermine/albums/userpics/10106/S-10%20crew%202%7E0.JPG Click on this link and it'll show you how to paste a photo in here http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/misc.php?do=bbcode#imgcode Bads Crew 09-20-2005, 09:44 PM Thanks I tried to post it but couldn't. After a long day at work my mind was blown out. You can see I have the dark windows also. I love em. So far I've seen some hot trucks here. I have a 95 Blazer also. I'd like to see more of that sun roof, The pic's posted where kinda dark. I wish I could do a sun roof but my overhead would be in the way. My cap has factory carpet and I am looking to boot it to the truck but have not found a way yet. Love to make it more part of the truck. Thanks Again OverBoardProject 09-20-2005, 11:02 PM No Prob B.C. It took me almost a year before I could post pics, and someone had to tell me how to. It's a tough one without any help on the subject joblo33 09-20-2005, 11:29 PM http://www.shareaproject.com/fullImages/1902.jpg Nothing too spectacular, but I like it, plus it's my first vehicle. Eric OverBoardProject 09-20-2005, 11:37 PM Nice first car Eric! dmbrisket 51 09-21-2005, 12:55 AM very clean and nice first vehical, not the corvettet c6 you wanted, but it is very nice Bads Crew 09-21-2005, 05:36 AM Nice Eric, I have had two 1st Gen pickups so if you ever have any questions I'm here for ya. I still have some things laying around for em. Like a pro rebuilt 2.8 with a power cam and chrome valve covers. Its been sitting on a engine for years and now I have nothing to put it in. I also have a set of Westin nurf bars still in the box. All offers considered. mike1224 09-21-2005, 07:59 AM Nothing too spectacular, but I like it, plus it's my first vehicle. Eric It looks nice, and well taken care of. Thats all that really matters, everything else is for fun. OverBoardProject 09-21-2005, 11:11 AM So far BC Canada boys have 2 trucks shown, And the resale price of them together adds up to less than any other truck here. I guess that would make us the low buck champions :iceslolan joblo33 09-21-2005, 08:16 PM It looks nice, and well taken care of. Thats all that really matters, everything else is for fun. I don't know about well taken care of. :D It's a '93 and it has 250,000km! And I'm the 6th owner  . Apparently the last 2 owners didn't know what was wrong with it though and kept reselling it. It was just a bad egr. :D Eric dugie6551 09-21-2005, 10:46 PM Here is my S10. Actually it is a 1984 GMC S15 with a 1991 Chevy grille. I have totally rebuilt it for my daily driver. This picture was taken last summer, but currently it is in pieces as I am replacing the motor. I will get current pics soon. Oh yeah ... 1 more from the Canadian folks !!!! http://tinypic.com/dwxdw6.jpg OverBoardProject 09-22-2005, 01:10 PM Looks good dugie I probably have the gas cap cover if you want or need it. As long as the Blazers is the same. dugie6551 09-22-2005, 02:41 PM Thanks, Overboard But I found a gas door in my clutter of parts and it needed some work. I've got a long list of mods I have done to it since that picture. Maybe I'll start my own truck page. mike1224 09-22-2005, 07:49 PM Hey all, had some more free time, put in the system, 2 sony 12's with a 600w amp. (doesn't need much power since it's std. cab. Got the camara, and a scanner, but they're useless to you dmbrisket 51 10-25-2005, 12:03 AM body kit came off e bay from 'hot rides of kc' user, and what do you mean how much to have a sun roof installed? get a damn sawlzall and cut! lol, if your a noobie, i dont reccomend it, but it was 200 bucks for the glass and frame (cousins cost 2 years ago brand new, smashed his truck, got the sunroof and lowering kit for under 400 bucks, lucky me) and we made the template, checked, had a beer, then checked again and rechecked, a beer later, we cut the hole, then put the truck into the paint booth, then sealed it up with black rtv movin2stereo 10-25-2005, 08:48 PM mike1224,I like that sunroof. How long did it take you to do that?BTW,You should clean around button. mike1224 10-25-2005, 09:51 PM mike1224,I like that sunroof. How long did it take you to do that?BTW,You should clean around button.when I bought the truck used, it was installed from the previous owner. i know its dirty, sometimes i forget to wash my hands after work. ...... Plus I did all the work on my Blazer. And I'm working on a 1929 Essex coupe, and a 71 Tripple E motorhome. Plus I have a 1927 Essex sedan that I'm doing when these are both done. I'm basicly self taught after reading about how to do bodywork, watching others, and asking on forums. rdfirbird92 10-31-2005, 11:20 AM thats how i am with under the hood. i just never got into body work, I'll pay to improve the cosmetics on my truck or take a class on it and get some practice before even thinking about messing with my truck. oh yeah, i finally got my pics onto my computer, but whenever i try to post them, it doesnt work :dunno: OverBoardProject 10-31-2005, 12:08 PM You'll have to post the pics onto a web site first. There are some free ones, like Car Domain, just do a google search. Then save the address of the pic, this can be done by r-clicking on the pic, and then click on properties. Cut and paste the address that you see between and so it looks like this http://www.automotiveforums.com/img/logo/normallogo-dependency.gif (without any spaces) Then your done http://www.automotiveforums.com/img/logo/normallogo-dependency.gif rdfirbird92 10-31-2005, 04:37 PM the first two are from when somebody hit me http://media.vidiLife.com/image/2005/10/27/29055/53158L.jpg http://media.vidiLife.com/image/2005/10/27/29055/53162L.jpg the next two are from a couple of days ago. ithink the chrome looks better http://media.vidiLife.com/image/2005/10/27/29055/53170L.jpg http://media.vidiLife.com/image/2005/10/27/29055/53173L.jpg dmbrisket 51 10-31-2005, 06:30 PM wow red, thinken i like your chrome bumper, a lot! Guess we'll have to custom make something to fit there. We don't off road a lot; use this mostly for our farm/greenhouse work...hauling wood, feed, plants, etc. Wide tire set really holds the road here in the Missouri Ozark hills...it doesn't 'roll' on the curves. Great for checking the cattle in the fields. Like to put some new wheels on it, tho...something nice and shiny!
