With my '99 ram 1500 4x4 QC, should i go w/ a catback or just a muffler? Im looking for a deep rumble, thats significantly louder than stock. I realize a catback is alot more than a muffler would be, but would the gains be worth it? If i were to go w/ a muffler i would go w/ a Flowmaster 40 series, and im not sure what i would go w/ if i were to get a catback...what do u guys think i should do?

Just go with full exhaust. Magnaflow hi-flow cat into dual outs. thats what ive got on mine and it sounds awesome.

glass packs are louder than flowmasters you may want to look into those good luck

glass packs are a waste of money, over time they just turn into a straight pipe due to carbon filling the holes. If your even thinkin of glass packs just go with straight pipes instead.

And why just buy a muffler for sound, when you can spend a bit more and get sound and performance?

:iagree: Why sounds like a badass and not be able to back it up? Go with something that will have a rumble to it but also give some HP numbers.
