Hey today i purchased a 91 buick PA as a second vehicle. (Truck gas eats me alive) I was wondering how to take out the factory stereo. I can see that the dash has to come off first. How do i go about this?

This is a instruction in german for the 94 PA, should also work on a 91:

You have to take out the hidden screws behind the vents before you can take off the instrument panel cover. start with lifting off the wood grain plastic.those are just pressed in, carefully pull them out.that will give you access to the screws behind the wood grain. open the glove box, loosen all screws that hold the glove box compartment in place, slide out the glove box as a whole unit.carefully pry out the vents by applying pressure with a screwdriver on top or bottom of the vents and unbolt the screws found there. take out the rest off all the screws that hold the black plastic cover and lift that one off, now you have access to the radio.

Ive done it several times on my 91. Its a little tricky to figure out. You have to remove about 10 screws or so, after removing the trim as volkerc said. Then you can use a kit to put in an aftermarket radio (which is what I assume you are doing.

Just one note... When I put in an aftermarket radio, the mounting kit came with 3 sizes of mounts, each with different depths. One was the same depth as the factory radio, and the other ones came out further to account for deeper aftermarket radios. I had to use the deepest one to mount a kenwood head unit, after frustratingly trying both the smaller sizes.
