Air Bag Light / Transmission Droping Out Of Gear

I own a 1995 Super Charged Buick Rivera that is having several problems that may / may not be related. I think all the problems may be electrical, but I can not trace them back to one root cause. The problems only occur when the Air Bag light is light, or flickering on and of (not really blinking in a steady pulse, but just turning on and off) When accelerating from a stand still, the transmission feels like it drops out of gear, then back in real quick -like if I were to put it into drive, slide it into neutral, then back into drive. It does this 1-3 times, then accelerates just fine. Also, the A/C fan motor speeds up then slows down randomly. All these problems happen only when the Air Bag light is flashing. Other times the car is completely fine. The traction control system has not functioned for the past few years, but I don't think it has caused a problem other than the "traction off" light being light all the time.

Any info that someone may have about these problems would be extremely helpful. I have received info from repair shops ranging all the way from needing a new transmission because one of the electric servos is bad, to needing a new engine management computer. I'm not sure if any of these are right, but neither are a fix that I can afford.

Thank you for your reply.
