I just recently purchased a 96 tracker lsi, and now my right brake caliper is locked down and my pad is worn off. I took it in to a midas and they quoted me somthing like 450 to change it. Is this an easy repair, and if so what parts/tools might i need? any help is greatly appreciated.

go to your local library get a book on the tracker and read it it should be very simple to do usually like most cars it has two bolt the caliper
slides on undo the bolts lift caliper off undo brake line put hose on new caliper change pads put caliper back on then have someone help you bleed brakes..

bleed brake

pump pedal 4 times push pedal down
open valve slowly let air out while the other person pushes down when he gets pedal to floor he holds it there you close the bleeder valve. then he can let the pedal back up.
do this a couple of times

also check to make sure the resorvior has brake fluid in it be fore you start.and after you finish.

i've heard autozone.com also has free online manuals of selected vehicles... u can see there.

i'm guessing that 450 quote is also for a new rotor set as well as new pads...
