CLASS ACTION SUIT/brakes

Has anyone ever thought about filing a class action suit against chevy due to the poor design of the malibu? I have a 2001 and it has many many of the problems i have read about on this site. It had the recall issue with the flasher switch/door locks/fuel surging issues/hot spot where tape deck would go under my cd player/temp issues/paint is bubbling off rear bumper/brakes which i have already replaced once. I am tired of fighting with my stupid dealer who sold me this piece of crap and have resorted to now emailing chevy.com with my complaints but have yet to hear back from them other than acknowledgements of receipt of my emails.

My husband replaced our brakes again last week and they now sound worse than ever...any good solid suggestions?

I was in a class action suit for the brakes on my Buick and got a setlement out of it. Check around the web or on yahoo. I currently have a yahoo group going for a defective intake manifold on 4.6 liter Mercurys that is going to court next month.

how do you find the class action suit info on yahoo? i have many many problems with my malibu and honestly believe that chevrolet is aware of the issues of their creation and should have to fix or compensate each owner of those cars.

You would have to do a search on yahoo groups. It might be located within the finance section. You should be able to use search words like "malibu", "class action", "GM", "brakes". I'll look around there later on and post a reply if I see something that can help.

I looked on yahoo last night. I saw nothing related to recalls or brakes on your specific car. There are a large number of Malibu groups though, you might find what you want yet.

I am sure there are enpough Malibu owners with these problems. I am a poster child. But I don't want a $100 off a new Malibu. I want the approximately $1,000 I spent back!
