Hi, I was wondering if someone here could help me out. I'm helping my dad look for a new truck. The Tacoma is mine and my dad's favorite truck, so I'm trying to push him into buying one. I came across a 2000 Tacoma for sale while driving home yesterday. It's a 4 cyl, 4-wheel drive, X-Tra cab, Auto tranny. It looks like it's in great shape from the outside and inside. I could not find any rust underneath the truck either. He's asking $8,000 obo. The only thing is that it has 174k miles! Could someone tell me what my counter offer should be if I called him up? I know there's no way anyone would pay $8 k for something with that much mileage. Then again I don't know how long these Tacoma engines and transmissions last. Would my dad be able to get 200k - 250k miles out of it if he bought it? Thanks in advance. gator2764 09-02-2005, 02:20 PM Hi, I was wondering if someone here could help me out. My 92 extra cab had 228K when I sold it 5 years ago. Still see it running down the road. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
