hey everyone, has anybody had problems with their valve cover gasket.mine was leaking a lil oil, i replaced the gasket and still a little bit of oil is leaking out.nothing major just annoying.i have a 99 2.2l cavy.any input would be appreciated.thanks cdru 09-01-2005, 05:23 PM Was both the head and the valve cover surfaces clean and smooth? Did you torque the cover down when you did the original replacement? It was leaking a lil so i torqued it up, now its leaking a lil again. I'm thinking it rattl;es loose or something. Anyone else have any imput?.... Its a lil annoying tightening the bolts all the time.. cdru 09-13-2005, 10:37 AM Just a little bit of blue loc-tite will take care of the bolts wiggling loose.
