Rebuilding 1986 Pick-up 22R engine with A/CArdisK 09-01-2005, 04:30 PM Hi, I am finally getting around to rebuilding my pickup after a front-end wreck. No engine damage, mostly radiator and cosmetic. If I can get it going, I will cut my gas consumption in half!! I have found most parts, but am trying to find a source for the pulley found just to the right of the belt-tensioner pulley. I am assuming this is part of the A/C system, but not sure. My books are very unhelpful. The pulley is approx. 6.25 inches wide (159 mm). Width of belt groove is 18 mm with a deep V groove. Center hole is 18 mm with a keyway groove. Would this be an AC DELCO Part # 38036 Idler Pulley? Thanking you in advance for any help you can give me. Or maybe someone has one they could ship to me? ArdisK 09-02-2005, 04:56 PM That would be as you stand looking at the front of the truck it is on the right hand side (Driver's side). Thank you. ArdisK bjd088 09-03-2005, 03:34 AM If I'm picturing this right, from left to right, you have A/C, below that to the right you have the tensioner pully, then the crankshaft, the the alternator. As far as the pulleys part number, I couldn't tell you. I hope that helps a little. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
