I recently bought a T3 turbocharger. Will this give me a HP gain? At what PSI would i have to run it to get an HP gain and what is the max boost a WRX can handle on stock internals?

Why did you buy something without first researching whether it could be used?

I thought you were doing an engine swap in a Pulsar?

The turbo may work, but for the amount of work will be needed and money still need spent, you may as well get rid of it and just buy a kit.

I think generally for an everyday driver the safest level of boost increase is 10% of stock.

For the WRX it's generally accepted that 16psi on stock internals will have almost no strain on the engine.

sooo you're doing an engine swap in a pulsar and you have boosted cavalier and are thinking about using your old T3 turbo in a WRX? it sounds like if you have the know how to turbo a cavalier and do an engine swap you should know where a safe boost level is...

found a reason to finally used this...

I never said i had a boosted cavi. I simply said that I bought the turbo with intentions of putting it in but never got around to it. And the pulsar is for a buddy of mine. He bought it but he gets scared or something when he asks questions.??? I dont know hes weird sometimes. So i dont know shit about turbocharging my vehicle. And i aint doing a engine swap i was askin if it was possible.

What u sayin im lying? Why in gods name would i want a 1990 Pulsar. If i was going to get a nissan it would be a 300ZX TT. NOT a Pulsar. Besides I dont want any other car but a WRX at this point :). I test drove a 2003 WRX and a 2004 STi. I wish i could afford the STi ($27,000 & 16k Miles). So the old "I have a friend....." is legit.
