Whats up guys, I didn't know if I should post this here, but I need some inpute. I am currently been offered a 280sx. I know what they are but are they rear to find. I have only seen an handfull. In the last 5 yrs. Can enyone give me more info on them. All info will be appreciated. He sells if for 800.00. I will get more info about the car this week end. Thanks for the help.

they are veryyy cool looking cars, i would buy it for 800 bucks if it even were to be just a beater car.
check for rust, dents, see how it runs, etc......

72-78 model, and no rust holes.. i've seen them go for 5k around here with no engine/drivetrain. I wish I had one, that car may be the sexiest most versitile (in relevance to engine choice) cars that exist, in my opinion.

If it is 72-78 and even if there is some rust, for $800 I would call you crazy if you pass it up.

Last time I checked those were Z's... not S-Chassis cars. Come to the Past Z Car forum to discuss... they are not all that rare and are the more plentiful of the older Z's. Also is it NA or Turbo?

nissan 280zx or datsun 280z.. the one above is a 280z.. thats as far as i know, or atleast as far as i've read

i about bought an 82 280 zx with 32,000 miles on it for 4,000. Still might dont know yet.

Ok this is what i know sow far from the guy that is selling it. It has 90000 miles, black, no rust. I will find out more tomorrow. And I will let you know more then. thanks for the input sow far

Make sure its a 72-78 Z otherwise its not exactly a sweet ride..but still worth 800 im sure.

I think its pretty obvious that there is not such 280sx zx whatever. Its an easy assumption that he is talking about an old Z, not worth posting over
