small hole in gas filler tube batmobile78m 08-30-2005, 09:56 PM
There is a bracket that holds the metal part of the filler tube, about 2 feet down from the gasoline input area and it leaks a little under this bracket when i fill up. Any way to patch it without replacing the tube? thanks ctesla 08-30-2005, 10:05 PM J.B.Weld or and equal, like LocTite's QuikSteel? basically, any two part epoxy, that is hardening, not pliable after setting. being resistant to fuel and petroleum products a plus, but since it doesn't sit in it, merely gets moist ocassionally.
