If I where you I would take it to a car repair place because I'm not a mechanic! gran turismo 07-27-2001, 09:52 AM no your the repar man:finger:  1PNYBOY 08-04-2001, 09:52 PM It's normal to hear that click when the compressor clutch engages and disengages. graphXtrend.com 08-05-2001, 04:30 AM 1PNYBOY, I own a '99 g20. When the climate control is at 85 it blows out hot air. But then when I lower it to 84 it starts blowing cool air. Do you know why? 1PNYBOY 08-05-2001, 09:30 AM Graph, You probably have a bad temperature sensor, the one located in the evaporator area. Had the same problem with several I30's. It's under warranty, take it in. graphXtrend.com 08-05-2001, 12:28 PM Originally posted by 1PNYBOY Graph, You probably have a bad temperature sensor, the one located in the evaporator area. Well it's out of warranty for that, unless you got it in good with the service advisor at your local dealer. I'll usually lower the miles a little for my good customer's, that way I can cover it under warranty. Contrary to what people believe, we get paid very well for doing things under warranty. Either way I don't think the part is very expensive. If you like I'll get the part # and the price for you. Just let me know. geoff200 08-05-2001, 09:25 PM When I startup my Air con I get a short hiss sound, but it can only be heard if you have the windows down- as I tend not to have the windows with the AC on the AC is inaudable. Mine is a European G20 (Primera GT) graphXtrend.com 08-05-2001, 10:13 PM That sux! I've had this problem since 24k miles. I was just too damn lazy to go get it checked out. Oh well, how much is the part and is it fairly easy to replace? Thanks graphXtrend.com 08-05-2001, 10:14 PM Originally posted by 1PNYBOY Man!!!! You have 60k on a '99? PLEASE TELL ME HOW. jdmprimera@yahoo.com 1PNYBOY 08-06-2001, 09:20 AM Part #27723-2J500 and it's about $12.00. The bad news is you gotta remove the evaporator to change it. When I said lower the miles, I meant when I receive a car with over 60k if it had less than 60k on it's last visit, I just add a few hundred miles and make sure it stays below 60k. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
