I got a 1973 F250 with a 390, headers, 2 1/2 pipe and glasspacks. What would be a good carb for low RPM torque? I not good at getting low torque just high RPM horsepower. I have the stock 2 barrel.

Holley 600 be a good choice.

The Holley 600 is a very good all around carb that would work well with your application. I had one for years on a 352 and put one on my father's 360 and they just run.

I'll check it out. If I did want to change the cam, say a little more lift, this carb would be enough. Sorry for the ignorance, new to carbs, I'm an EFI guy.
