We overheated our Tahoe the other day thanks to the quick disconnect on the heater hose going to the Intake manifold.

We could not pull over for a while and when we finally did it was clattering with detonation. I knew it was going to be bad.

Finally got home and it was running fairly good...except for a P0304 code on the computer. It would miss at Idle but would run good at highway speed.

Pulled the number 4 spark plug one morning before it had been driven and coolant ran out of the hole.

Pulled the head hoping for the best (blown head gasket) but had a blown head gasket and a crack on the #4 intake valve. Went ahead and replaced both heads with rebuilts and a tune up too.

The whole weekend and a lot of $$$ later the Tahoe is back on the road.
Still cheaper than $68.50 an hour labor but it did burn up the whole weekend.
