98 WStar-Intense Vibration at 60rpm

Hi,
I have a 98 windstar with 145,000 miles. I just replaced the tires. When i'm driving on the freeway, the car will sometimes start vibrating intensely. If i take my foot off the gas, the vibration stops. Many times the vibration will stop for 20-60 minutes. Other times, the vibration will start again when i push on the gas again. But, it will always stop by taking my foot off the gas, it just may need to be done multiple times.
Do you know why the car will vibrate intensely at 60+ mph?

thank you.

If it did not do this before you replace the tires I would take back and tell them to rebalance or replace the bad tire or tires.. This is more common than you think. hope this helps.

My brother had a high mileage camary that vibrated under gas, was bad CV joints, no torn boots. new axle fixed it.

Believe it or not, new tie rods fixed a similar problem in my '98.

Thanks garync1, floridatqp, baumbr.
Gary, you asked if this was happening before
i bought new tires. Yes, it was. I don't think
the tires are the problem.
Floridaytqp & baumbr, i'll look at the axle & tie-rods.
A buddy at work thought it might be the front
bushings as well.

thanks for your answers.
