There is a few circular metal seals on the side of the block, close to the oil pan, but one of them is leaking coolant. It looks like this seal can be pried out and replaced with a new one but I'm unsure if it should be done or how I should do it. My last resort is pasting it over with some kinda of ceramic bond that you can buy from the local automotive store. Anybody have any ideas what I can do? I checked my Chiltons manual but it says nothing on there on how to replace this.

That is called a freeze plug, It can be replaced by draining the radiator and removing the bottom radiator hose as to remove the antifreeze from the block so you don't get a shower. Take a large screwdriver and tap one edge inward, The opposite edge will pop outwards, Then grab it with a pair of visegrips and pull it out. Clean the block seating area of rust and install the new one (preferably brass) with a 1/2" drive socket that fits just a little loose inside the new freeze plug and tap it in place.
BE CAREFUL not to tap it in too far, Only the outer rim flush with the block.
Good luck
