Alarm comes in at 75 and won't clear until speed drops below 75. Really sucks on vacation when the speed limit is 70 in some places. Thanx for any info guys.

Never heard of an alarm that comes on at certain speeds. More info perhaps? Any lights, what does it sound like?
I've regularly had ours over 80 with no problems.

No, there are no dummy lights or anything like that it is just an audible alarm much the same as the seat belt alarm, but it never shuts off like the seat belt alarm does. Do you get a seat belt alarm if you don't put your belt on within about 15 - 20 seconds after you put the vehicle in drive? It sounds identical to that. Thanx.

Strange. Yea, I know what the seatbelt alarm sounds like, the day we bought ours I drove it off the auction lot and about had a heart attack when the chime started sounding as I was pulling around to the front.
Googling doesn't bring up anything about a speed either. Hopefully someone will know something, good luck.

You are a life saver Jeckler. Even though I am at work and have not had a chance to play around with anything, at least you found someone else who had the same problem. I was starting to wonder if maybe I was crazy, because no one else new what I was talking about. I wonder if I just turn the traction control off if that will disable the alarm, since my van is equipped with traction control, and I have never tried to turn it off. Thanx a lot for the info. man. I will let you know how it turns out.

No luck on the traction control. I guess I will just have to take it in and ask a technician to look at it.

One thing I recently found out on my '01 ( maybe this is common knowledge- not for me) is that if you leave the turn signals on for an extended period of time, say, for a long on or off ramp that's backed up, the chimes will go off. Scared the bejezzus out me when that happened. I use the blinkers all the time, and I've had that happen at least three times now.

Thanx for the info. You are absolutely right about that it is a common sense thing. I can't beleive I did not think of something like that. I'll give it a try.
