I have a 2001 gti 1.8T. I want the loudest blow off sound, but still want to reciculate the air like the stock valve. Does anyone know what would be the best way to go? :banghead:

well your not going to have a super loud bov sound if u buy a recirc valve, but if you search google there are a couple of companies that sell hybrids, where half the air goes to the atmosphere and there other half is shot back into the intake

Buy a turboxs type S recirc valve (special for mittsus and vw's/audis) And then put on a short ram neuspeed intake.

If you want a louder sound, get any Cold air intake (they are all the same)

Our cars are not made to run BOV,so stick with a Diverter valve.

If you want a loud "whoosh" sound, keep the stock DV or buy a new DV and install it the same as the stock one.

If you want a louder "chirp" sound (JDM BOV Stylz y0!), buy a new DV and install it backwards. No, installing it this way will not damage your car.
