sorry bout that i guess that would help. its a 97 mercury tracer actually. its my girlfriend's car so I dont have the engine size but surely the 97 tracer only had one engine.

could be the pfe sensor {pressure feedback egr} its a black box with a vacumn hose and wire plug in.

that peice was 70 bucks from the factory. I replaced the peice last year they gave another name for it. but since it was recently replaced successfully (the light went off succeding the installation) I was assuming it was some other emission part
