Ok, here's the deal. I have a 1993 gmc sierra, standard trans, 350. I don't think any of the gauges on the dash work, the ones i know don't work are the speedometer, gas, odometer and trip meter. they may ALL be out. Any way anyone can help me on that one would be great. Also, the steering wheel is loose. i have to turn it about a 1/4 turn before it acctually affects the vehicles path. Thanks to everyone in advance for any help you give!!

As far as your steering problem, it could be a number of things; ball joints, tie rod ends, pitman arm, or the gear box. I would take it to a shop and have the front end checked out. The guages on the other hand, sounds like the electrical connector could be loose or you could have a bad ground.

My guages went out on mine. I bought a used one on ebay and alll guages work just fine...It appears the unit goes bad and affects most of the guages. The junk yard want $150 + for it. I got it for $50 on ebay
