well the one where i lost is a up hill one. sooo that didn't count count. :devil:

and heres a pic of me and my friends hard work. it took 3 days. but we did it, i sanded down the entired engine bay to get rid of the rust, and took off the valve cover, buffed it down, painted it, then buffed off the nissan and twin cam logo, then put it back on. it was all worth the effort.

well lets see all the power mods that i got. i got a blue boddy head ninja thingy, +10 horsepower, i got a black and metallic astro metal air freshener, +10 hp. blue indiglo dash lights, +15 hp, and the red top adds 50 whoping ponies. yup yup.

the valve cover looks bad ass! Too bad you dont have a before and after shot......or do you?

sadly no. it was just tooo damn rusty. i was thinkin of takin a before and after shot. but i didn't bother. but think of that but unpolished with motor oil stains and splash stains, and rust.

Man I want one of those valve covers that add 50 hp those are awesome. Who needs a turbo when you have one of those. Oh and I want one of those laptops that say danger to manifold when my floor panels fall off.:D

No but seriouslly that is a nice cleaning job on the engine. I have to do that too. I have so much grime that when I'll wash it off I'll lose like 300 pounds off the car and gain at least 3/10 of a sec from the 1/4 mile.;)

By the way, did you use a high temp paint? What brand do you remember?

i used engine paint, the brand is called dupicolor. or something liek that. they sell them at autozone. they say that your not suppose to put them back on the engine until like 5 days later. but i coudln't wait cause i was in queens and i go to school in long island and i was workin on it for 3 days already. i just put it on anyways and nothing came off and nothing bubbled. really nice paint. but beware. the paint does bubble up when your paintin it the first time. so you gotta wait for that to dry then sand it down, then paint it again.

i feel that there could be something wrong with my engine. it could be the timing, it could be a weak cylinder. bad compression, leaks. i have no clue. but i'm going to go tomorrow to check it out. because my car honestly feels really slow. but hey atleast it looks fast. heh.

well, that would suck quite a bit. but its always a possibility.
i seen a dude with an mx3 with a hole in his piston that was letting so much blowby through that he couldn't run a dipstick because it shot it out the hole all the time.
and the idiot still drove it around

lolz, damn~~ well my car still runs smooth but i think its only a minor leak or the compression isn't too off from each other, but all i know is that i'm burning oil and my oil gets black waaaaaaaay too fast. i'm goin to flush out my engine twice and see what happens.

maybe that sr swap is going to happen sooner than you thought!

yes definitly. i was at a body shop in flushing queens today with my friend, and this guy in a tuned audi S4 thats pushing 350hp pulls up to the shop. hes like this to my friend "hey can i ride in that wrx to see how hard it pulls?" then my friend let him in, floors it up and down the block. he comes out "yeah its pretty good" then my friend asked " can i sit in your S4, to see how much harder it pulls then my WRX?" then he goes sure, hope in and 2 of my friends jumped in. 10 minutes later, my friend was grinning from ear to ear. damn i'm jealous. that and my friend's friend's supra makes my car look like a joke. the supra's interior is sooo nice. the whole center dash wraps around the driver. grrrrrrr
