I have an 03' Burb and currently looking to get an aftermarket extended warranty. I would like to know who has what warranty company and if they would recommend that company or not. Thanks for the input.

When we bought our '98 my hubby got the extended warranty through National Warranty Corporation and it has definately paid for itself. Since we bought the Beast last March, we've had the transfer case, u-joints, the fuel pump and the tranny replaced; our out of pocket costs were $400, which is penny change if we had had to pay for all that work ourselves. The reason my hubby decided to get the warranty was because he had never worked on a 4X4 and wasn't about to start..he just knew he would do more harm than good:) We've had great customer service through National...none of the service we needed was questioned or denied. I recommend them...

Thanks Ladytex! I am at wits end trying to decide on a company to use. I will check them out.

Hey LadyTex, I just checked out Natl Warranty and it looks as though they are in the process of going bankrupt. So now I am back where I started.....

OrdO...then I guess I should be happy that the warranty just expired :) Seriously though, we just went past our mileage on our warranty, we hit the 12K on our trip to Texas in the beginning of the month. Hubby is considering looking for a new warranty..mainly to cover the engine. Thanks for the update....

I have AUL for my 99 burb, and it has more than paid for itself. I've had the trans rebuilt, and it's currently in the shop for several things. The only downside is that for costly repairs (like I'm having done now), they send out an adjuster, so that adds to the down time.
