does anyone know where you can buy a light blue window tint? All i see places selling is different shades of black. if anyone knows a place please let me know thanks

Seriously though, I think AutoZone sells some. They used to, not sure if they still do.

Also I just checked and there are a couple of places online that sell it too. If I didn't close the window already, I would've posted a link.

Are you looking to tint your windows yourself?
I know that most all tinting places have colored tint, but I'm not sure if you can find any kind of custom colored tint at like a Kragen or Auto Zone. I think you'll just find the black or purple there. And yeah, that cheap stuff looks cheap, and it'll fade and bubble after a while.

i have seen cars that tint their windows the color of their car rather then just black. dont know if you guys see them all the time but i have only seen a couple. this one red civic had his windows tinted red and it looked alright. jus thought id throw my opinion in on color tinted windows.:D

That's the 'sparkly' show tint. That stuff is only supposed to last a year or two.

I talked to a guy with a red civic with red tint. He said he loved the way it looked on his car, but he hated driving with it. Everything he looked at through his windows was red, and when he got out of his car after a prolonged time, everything looked green( I think it was green) to him. It really messed with his eyes.

I have seen other people with tint that looks like mirror, and I think that is SWEET!! There is even some tint out there that fades from mirror to black. It is very cool.

i have seen that mirror tint on some cars. it looks pretty good. how much does it cost.

A new place just opened and I was at their grand opening and they had a cavilier :rolleyes: sittin there with white tint at the bottom and it did this crazy fade type deal into dark limo tint. Kinda hard to explain, but it was the sweetest thing.

I went inside the place and they had a huge sample book to choose from. So you might want to check around and see what else is out there.

I've seen that blue tint on some mercedes and bimmers out here. Good way to make an expensive car look cheap...along with some led hood squirters and ya got it made! YEAH!

I love seeing yellow Civics, with yellow interiors and yellow window tint!

The problem is, as mentioned above, that driving is difficult!!! Particularly with yellow, which tends to reduce depth perception. Wonder what I mean? Buy a pair of shades that are the color of tint you want... wear them while driving for a week, and see if you get hit or run into anything because it throws you off...

For starters its illegal to tint any side window on a car.
Secondly....the colored tint will hurt your eyes...if you tint it yellow you will begin to see green more. Red will lead you to see more blue and Blue will lead you to see more Red. I was never a big fan of colored tints and I personally think it looks kind of ricey...but hey it's not my ride right?? Just make sure you are careful when driving...especially with the cops hanging around.

wrong different states have different laws for tinting it is NOT the same in each state. check the local laws for what you can and can't do.

No shit, it's so damn hot and sunny down in Florida, they let you tint them pretty dark. I've had 15% all around in my car for about 2 yrs and no one has ever said anything to me. My other car had 5% all around and still I never got hell for it. That was definitely too dark though, 15% is perfect.

yep tint laws are going to be different everywhere Florida isn't going to be the same here in wisconsin. but yeah 5% is pretty dark my friend had it on a black neon shit it was dark. There are places around here that sell 2 1/2 % tint that is dark as hell, but not legal of course.

That window tint law sight is awesome, course now I cant hate that cop that made me take the tint of my front side windows. I suggest keeping a copy of your local laws with you in the glove box. The tint from gila is crap! It will fade out just like the shit that you would get at wal-mart...trust me...i used to sell it! Now I got hooked up with quality stuff similar to 3M...the best stuff out there!

you guys cant be serious? you think that window tint looks good? Come on...Llumar window tint is the best and they only sell mirror and regular window tint...I cant see putting blue window tint on my Si. I have had 5% tint on my Si since I bought it and so far I have been pulled over for it twice in Ohio (they cant give me a ticket because my car is registered in FL) and i have gotten 2 tickets for it in FL
