A friend of mine has a 97' GP and the Ac/heater fan doesnt work on the 1 or 2 but works with the 3on up. I know Grand Ams have a resistor on the fan motor, Is it the same with the Grand Prixs? Thanks!

Yes, same as the Grand Am. If the HVAC is manual its a blower motor resistor. If its the auto digital climate control its called a blower motor control module. Sounds like you're on target. Good luck!
