No "PRD321" indicator or "door ajar" on gauges

Here's the story. I have a 96 Breeze 2.0L. I am not getting any "PRD321" with the boxes around them or "door" warning if the door is open on the gauge cluster. I ran the gauge cluster self check and these parts lit up, so the panel isnt burnt out. I checked all of the grounds and power supplies to the gauge cluster and they are good.

The thing that confuses me is the courtesy dome light still works when the door is open, and this runs through the BCM. I then checked the bus lines from the BCM to the gauge cluster for continuity and they are fine. I replaced the BCM and it didnt help at all.

It gets more confusing... On the bottom of the BCM there are two wire clips. the one towards the back of the car has the four door, gas, and oil sensors on it. If i have the front wire clip disconnected an wiggle the rear one, the "door" indication come on the dash and it ding's. I was able to hold it in such a way that it would stay on, but as soon as i put the front clip back in place, it would stop working again.

Any ideas? please? any?

Thanks, mike
