Hello,

I have just taken ownership of this car and on my first journey the rear wiper has stopped working.
It was raining hard and I had the wipers on full speed until the rear blade just went limp. Now the rear wiper doesn't work, when I try and use it, it just wobbles back and forth about 1mm each way. With it switched on I can flip the wiper blade up and it will rotate 360 degrees with no resistance.

I'm guessing that it has slipped off its belt or something, I'm sure its an easy fix but as I'm new to the car I don't really want to start messing about until I know what to do, Haynes manual on order :).

Any advice welcome.

Just a guess-At the base of the wiper arm there may be a round piece of plastic. Pry it off and see if there is a nut in there that is loose.

Cheers AzTumbleweed, that was it, tightened up the nut, all working now.

Glad to help. I guess you really need them wipers over there!
