engine trouble code

I have 1999 Malibu. the check engine light came on and set a code 0341 witch is camshaft position sensor circuit range/performance.
where do I find the cam sensor or how do I check this problem? The motor is a 3.1 v6 w/ auto trans

On my 1998 3.1L V-6 you would need to remove the drive belt, remove the power steering pump without disconnecting the hoses, position it on the side and then disconnect the CPS, one small bolt and electrical connector.

I posted am image showing location on the gallery section of this site. The front of the car is to the right of the jpg image.

I think mine gotted frayed when my Intake Manifold started leaking hot coolant on it.
