5.0 engin swap4x4toyota 08-18-2005, 12:51 AM can any one help me. i have a 93toyota pick-up and i want to put a mustang 5.0 engin in it.can any one tell me if it would work and how hard it would be to do it. thanks fiat850spyder 08-20-2005, 03:14 PM i dunno if it will work but u shuld see if its possible that the engine fits inside the car because i think the max on a pickup is a 3.0l i dont kno if u culd do it but just check and see if it has enough space to fit in if it does please tell me Snowgoer05 10-11-2005, 10:14 PM It probally wont fit youll probally have to cut out the fenders And a bunch of other things The motor itself may fit but you have to remember headers and everything thats where it gets hard Question why a ford motor there not that durable as a lt1 350 camaro motor and the camaro motor Has a lot more power!
