im not signing it, in states where there are no vehicle inspections you see cars driving around and wonder how nasty all that exhaust coming out of it is. Like in michigan, theres no inspections. You can see a car driving down the road just unloading tons of black smoke, dripping oil, broken exhaust, just tons of nasty things. I wish we had inspections.

Well, many aftermarket parts aren't legal in states such as California, where mods will make you fail a SMOG test,such as no cats, etc. MOST (not sure if all) JDM motors are illegal also, so there would be many upset civic and nissan drivers out there....I'll sign I guess, California's crazy.

Its sorta like that in every state...When my dad was a cop in Michigan, he could pull over anyone for any reason he wanted based purely on his own suspicion. Same in Texas. I got pulled over for actually doing hte speed limit (I had my CC set for the speed limit cuz there was a cop right behind me, he pulled me over for suspicious driving, and searched my car).

I love to visit Cali. I'd never live there on account of everyone there is nuts, but it's nice to take a vacation from my arrid hell hole every so often. It's also got great beaches...and the shores are nice too ;)


This whole deal that's going on in cali right now is just giving the cops more freedom to harrass motorists and give heavier penelties/fines. It's a wad of crap.

Arid deserts, beaches, humid hell holes, canyons and mountins (not skiable, but skiing is boring), rivers, lakes, hot ass chicks, and cops that dont care about street racing as long as you do it in an empty area.

You'd be suprised. What part are you moving out too? You can PM if you want. But anywyas, some of the better import tuners are in Texas. Alamo Autosports, Gotham Racing, Autoscope, and then some. HIN was crowded, maybe not as big as it owuld be in Cali, but it was pretty big. I'd say around here, there is a decent mix of Import and Domestic.

They already busted my brother. Pulled him over due to a loud exhaust system I believe (He still has catalytic converter). Searched his Saturn, and took pictures of everything. He put an earlier Saturn's headers on, as they were less restrictive. They busted him for that, the exhaust system (2 1/2 inch fabricated pipe), and his cold air intake.

Gosh I hate California, and the cops are by far the worst. Over here if you are caught racing, they crush the car in front of you, whether or not it is paid for or not.

what do you guys think I posted this on nissan forums right for the petition and everyones response was well if you stand out you deserve to be pulled over because thats the risk your taking in modifying your car to look different omg this made me so mad. their response was if it looks and acts a certain way it must be a certain way and thats enough reason right there lol
