HPI RS4 RTR3 (56K Take a walk)transam1111 08-17-2005, 12:13 AM Hey guys, Since everybody else posted up theres i might as well post up mine. I have a few hundred dollars invested in this and it goes pretty fast I want to get a full crbon chassis and 2 speed upgrade next but that will have to wait till i get some more $$. Also i replaced the engine with a HPI T-15 Racing engine. The Black Trans-Am was my first body i ever built andit is just a show body to go along with my dads real car. The Orange Camaro body is my daily driver body and im supprised since i slide and drift alot all i have hit is one light post resulting in a minor crack> The crash wasnt my fault though, a rock got jammed it the steering and woulnt let me steer away from the pole and i couldnt stop fast enough. http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/1313/picture0144zp.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/3060/picture0109nb.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/7527/picture0139le.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/2724/picture0115zv.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/5485/picture0253ab.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/6428/picture0263jm.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/7596/picture0277ue.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/6233/picture0288kl.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/6111/dscn27843wl.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/6291/dscn27870wt.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/8949/picture0319cp.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/4066/picture0339ad.jpg http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/4153/picture0240rx.jpg http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/668/picture0213hi.jpg http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/2524/picture0172oo.jpg http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/2694/picture0229af.jpg ^ Running a fare bit of camber as u see, the lines are supposed to go all the way. http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/6049/picture0230aq.jpg ^ There is a sheild i custom made out of clear plastic that you can see right behind the front right tire to prevent those dents from getting on my nice exhaust aN4rK1 08-17-2005, 12:28 AM WOW!! Lets see yours. Wanna sell it? lol. Jeep_Rubicon 09-01-2005, 03:57 PM Nice RS4, the trans am is sweet. raytracer2k2 09-07-2005, 09:47 PM doesn't the rs4 have a 2 speed tranny already? im thinking of buying a used rs4 3 evo w rotostart so wil i need to buy the 2 speed? transam1111 09-13-2005, 05:33 PM doesn't the rs4 have a 2 speed tranny already? im thinking of buying a used rs4 3 evo w rotostart so wil i need to buy the 2 speed? No this is the HPI RS4 RTR3 not the evo. This is the same kit except it came out first and it doesnt have the 18ss motor. I dont know if the evo has the 2 speed or not but my car does not. raytracer2k2 09-13-2005, 09:06 PM I am very confused. There's a rsr rtr like yours. A ss version. A kit version. A rtr evo version. I wonder what the difference is. The one Im getting is the evo rtr and I think it has a 2speed and .15 nitrostar with rotostart. transam1111 09-14-2005, 01:33 PM I am very confused. My kit is discontinued and those are the replacements for it. BTW i dont like the rotostart because it forces fuel and stuff into the engine where as the pull start you can feel when its hard or easy. raytracer2k2 09-15-2005, 01:08 AM The owner im getting the evo replaced the rotostart engine with a pullstart but he'll be including the rotostart. I was planning to put the rotostart back but I think since he and you dont like the rotostart maybe I'll just stick with the pullstart. Is that blue tuned pipe stock? What were the first things to break in a crash and which get worn out even if you dont crash. I heard the rear dogbones wear easily. Im an EP guy so this will be my first GP. transam1111 09-16-2005, 01:30 PM The owner im getting the evo replaced the rotostart engine with a pullstart but he'll be including the rotostart. The blue tuned pipe is made by Golden Horizons, and the header is made by traxxas. Pipe= $59.99 Canadian, Header= $29.99 Canadian. So far nothing has broke, crashed once into a pole, nothing. No wear on anything except the tires. The only thing that has broken is the throttle servo, and the guy at the rc shop did it and wouldnt admit it so i dont do business with him anymore. No problems with the dogbones at all. It is a different model so they might wear differently. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
