Like most of you, I have had the brake pads and rotors replaced several times and am done with it. I would rather put some money into non GM aftermarket parts and get more lifetime out of them, which wisdom here and everywhere else dictates.

So for those of you who have done it, why pads and rotors have you used and where did you have them installed? I am not skilled enough to install them so I'd be better taking the car somewhere to have the parts installed. It seems like going with performance rotors and pads is worth the extra money, which doesn't seem to be that much more expensive.
