Apologize if I'm violating any rules here...

I'm having an extrememly tough time finding a replacement for the plate with the shift indicator on it. I can't seem to find one online and I've made the junkyard run with no luck.

i'm trying to avoid paying dealer prices, so if anyone can point me in any good directions, I'd appreciate it.

thanks.

Sorry, it's a '93.

Not sure what you mean by TC...

it's the plastic plate that drops down around the shift lever. it's got the clear plastic with the P-R-N-D-1-2, etc. on it. One of the tabs is busted so it pops out every time you go into park.

Thanks.

what steve meant by TC was the Transfer Case (there are 3 TC available for the ZJ, 231, 242, 249).

b ut I guess we cleared that up. You need the transmission shift bezel.

I have a replacement gearshift bezel and now need to remove the broken one and install the replacement.

Any suggestions as to how I remove the gearshift handle to do this?

It's a 94 JGC.

Thanks!
