Replacing VCshawnbart 08-13-2005, 11:32 PM I have a question about replacing the VC. I was wondering if there is anything that I should Know before I do this such as, do I need to mark anything anywhere? I have never taken a TC out but I think that I can do it. I have looked into it alittle and to only replace the VC it looks and sounds decently easy. I have taken out and put motors and tranys in but no TC. I would appreciate some help on this issue I have. I have a 95 Grand Cherokee Laredo 5.2 np 249 TC, the quadra-trac. dksob81 08-13-2005, 11:48 PM Shawnbart, Here is a site you should visit if you haven't already. there are some great pics that will walk you through the VC removal. I used to send these pics to everyone who asked for them, always took about 3 emails to send all the photos, then a friend on the forum (here) offered to place them on his site for everyone to see. Made it easier on me and everyone else. Here is the site http://www.masoncomputing.com/np249/ Hopes this helps, As for the alignment markes, the only one I would worry about would be for the driveshafts so you make sure they go on the same way the come off (to keep it balanced). shawnbart 08-14-2005, 02:34 PM Thank You for the help that site is very helpful!!!
