soooooo, its been whiiiiiiiile since i posted on here, or actually paid attention to any races i was having. but something is weird...i think. SO, for the update a few weeks ago raced friends 99 GSR and won by errr...a very decent amount. and then last week raced friends GST who has an Evo III 16g running 13psi, and i just took off by about 4 car lengths or so from 45-120. anywho, before this i had some interesting races too...

the first 350z was around my house, but i decided to keep on goin so i can have playtime. went from about 40 i would say cause we slowed down a bit, and by the time 120 or so came about i was about 3-4 lengths or so ahead of it.
second 350z was on the freeway, and a short one from 70-110 or so, and that was basically about the same...3 lengths i would say.
NOW, after a meet we had recently for the DSM's, i am coming back from it and riding back on the 101-s with an Evo MR from the meet (cams, turboback, zeitronix wideband tuned SAFC-II), and we go from about 65-125. this was interesting for me as well, since i assumed he was gonna hit the dominatrix on me, but i guess it didnt happen. i pushed first and gunned it at 65, and then he proceeded (exhaust loud in the ears cant hear my own car at all cause RSR is quite). i got the jump from my 3rd gear, then we stayed even through my 4th, and nearing the end of fourth my T25 died down so he went up till i was at the bottom of his drivers side door. then held in 5th until we slowed down at about 125 or so.
NOW, i understand, you can all call all the BS you want, but me and my friends are very confused about this also. i dont claim to be faster than any of these cars (which are all nicer btw), cause in actuality, with the mods i have now, this shouldnt be happening. im thinkin something was done to my car without my knowledge, as i bought it used, or the fact that the motor is cherry...cause it was driven by an elder woman(no offense) and has like 59k miles on it. maybe all the cars im racing are running bad? maybe nobody was even racing me :frown: . gonna get it dynoed for any explanation on the 21...so maybe answers then. i know i do sound like a complete jackass and if i read this i would laugh and put the little BS flag up...promptly, but this is my circumstance, BAH!

oh yea, and black newer RSX type-s tonight. to my suprise, the guy was asian...and was cool, and thumbs up. wooot.

I've heard of factory freaks but thats a bit much.

I believe the GST. The EVO16g doesn't make much more power until you get into higher boost ranges.

It sounds like any number of things. A) you are a great driver, B) you race bad drivers C) your car is more upgraded than you think, D) pixiedust

I say take it to a track and report back some times. That would provide a pretty good benchmark to cut out speculation. If you are running anywhere 11.xx or lower, I'll put money on option D.

HAHAHAHHAHA i like the pixie dust - dyno day on the 21st, so im goin up with a few of my friends dsm and non. should find some interesting things hopefully... :)...and probably no pixie dust :banghead:

maybe your T25 was ported to be a T28. turbo2nr knows of a guy with a evo mr with turbo back and pulleys and other mods and when he went to the track the first run he ran a mid 15 at 100mph and the second run was a 14.6 @ 104 mph. the mph and e.t. is waaaay off for the car esp with those mods. however this friend rolled off the line on the first run and launched at 2500 rpm on the second run. so yeah crappy ass driver so anything can happen.

thats no factory freak, that car is more beefed up then he thinks.

Well, I can’t wait to see the dyno results because I don’t think that little old lady modified that car and I think that this beyond a factory freak.

sigh...ive been sick over the past few days, but my friend with the Evo III 16g in his GST dynoed at 230 with equal torque even tho he has some sort of prob. holding boost, but i at least know that i have at least that much. next dyno meet i will remember not to get sick...bah.
