next to my air filter housing against the fender i have a plug and module that says "electric brake control" does anyone have an idea what this is for? i dont have a tow hitch, i have checked behind my spare in compartment for a trailer hitch wireing. nothing its a 94 jgcl 5.2

That is so you don't have to tap into the stop lamp switch for a brake controller. Both of my 98s have them but the didn't work! lol
