Just an FYI with those having tranny problems in the grand cherokee.

About a year ago my tranny was acting up bad. Would not shift hardly at all.

Took it in to a tranny shop - thinking I would have to replace it.

They looked at it and turns out the shaft speed sensor was bad. They replaced it for about 50 bucks.

Have not had transmission problems since.

I was relieved that when I thought about having the tranny rebuilt I got away with a $50 repair.

Anyway - just thought I would share.
