Have had a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo for about 3 years now without any major problems but this one has me stumped.

The other day the jeep would not start. We've had battery drain problem occasionally when we left the lights on "auto". So I figure it's the same thing and try to jump it.

I have never even had a hint of start-up problems aside from this drained battery issue which was always solved with a simple jump start.

This did not do anything.

Had the Battery checked and replaced it.

Now it cranks of just fine but it will not fire up.

I hear a buzzing sounds comming from the "ASD" relay in the relay box. I swapped it out with the "TCM" relay but there is no difference.

I have tried to reset the alarm several times by locking and unlocking through the keyless entry system but nothing changed.

I am about ready to take this to the dealer. I suspect that some sensor or alarm code is keeping this from starting but cannot figure it out. I have never had a h
