Hey all,

Ive got a 99 Grand Cherokee with 85k miles on it. Within the last 2 weeks or so, ive noticed that when driving at 70mph or higher, I get what almost sounds like an airplane type humming noise from the front end. I cant tell if its coming from the engine or something else. Below that speed it runs and sounds great, just once I get there it happens.

Any ideas on what could be causing the noise? The car seems to run fine aside from that.

I had the same problem with the whining , so mi replaced the bearings and one of the axles (the boot was torn ) and now no more whining, just very little from the snow tires
