Well thanks to Beachcrawler i got in touch with George regarding my transfer case.. But now i have one more problem, my a/c is losing it's charge about after a few days & it's not cold at all. Should I just bring it in to a mechanic to test it? How would I know if it's the compressor? Thanks all

You could always refill it with a marking dye, and then see where it is leaking out.

How do you know the charge is lost? Have you checked the pressures on the system?

IF you need to add refrigerant every few days, you've got a major leak. Unless you have the know how and really want to work on this yourself, you're far better off just taking it in for a test and repairs. IF you can sweat it out until winter hits the service might be cheaper...

IF A/C compresor clutch engages and stays on, compressor is likely working fine, system just has a (big) leak.

the compressor will start to engage (on & off) as i add refrigerant... then it will stay on after i add about a can or so. I'm sweating it out for now.. i'll wait for winter to have it serviced..

So i must have a BIG leak.
