I have a 2005 Honda Pilot EX-L RES, and I copied a dvd that I own (because I don't want the originals to get ruined in the vehicle) but the Pilot doesn't play it, just says ERR. I tried the dvd on my Sony home DVD player and it works fine; as well as all other machines I used to test it on. I used a DVD+R disc and I was wondering if anybody had any luck on copying a DVD and getting it to play. Thanks!

Well tonight while I was looking through my homemade DVD's, I tried a DVD-r disc of our wedding that I made and it worked fine in the player. So tomorrow, I am going to buy some DVD-r dics and try copying my real DVD's and see if that works.

Using DVD-r and DVDshrink to copy the discs seem to be working just fine. I copied The Incredibles and Shrek and both played perfectly in the player.
