I have a 1998 Monte Carlo LS with 16" rims. I currently have 235-55 16's on it. They don't rub anything that I have noticed. What other aftermarket sizes have people succesfully used on the stock rims. I want a little better tire and the selection in the 235-55-16 size is pretty slim. Currently have T rated and want H or better for the stiffer sidewall.
I was thinking of 245-50-16 or 245-45-16's. The 45's I think may look silly at stock ride height and rim size. I am generally worried about rubbing and that the size might be too much tire for the rim, wouldn't want it to 'roll' off the rim during a hard corner... Any input would be greatly appreciated
