manual boost controllerdefiancy 08-05-2005, 09:43 PM Okay so today I finally got a turbo xs manual boost controller that I ordered. It's the high performance one, you know good for 30 psi or whatever. I opened the box and there was the boost controller and one hose and an alan key. I mean I was expecting a little more but whatever. my question is, does anyone know how to install this? lol and how to adjust it. I mean I'm pretty knew to the dsm scene and I already have a boost guage installed and some small other mods I just want to run about 15 psi on my stock turbo until I can upgrade to a big 16g in about a month and a half or so. So can anyone explain it in terms that I can understand? 97GSTspyder 08-05-2005, 09:59 PM search and you shall find...there's also a couple web pages that have instructions w/ pics. it's easy. you eliminate your stock BCS (boost control solenoid), hook up one end of the mbc to the wastegate actuator, the other end T'd off on the vac line that runs to your bov and you're done. after that you take it for a spin and see how much psi you're running it, and then adjust from there....you do have an aftermarket boost gauge, right? scottsee 08-06-2005, 12:42 AM don't unplug the BCS. leave it pluged in and vac cap the nipples 97GSTspyder 08-06-2005, 11:56 AM oh yeah forgot to mention what scottsee said. if you completely unplug the bcs you'll get a cel. no big deal but it's annoying vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
