Hey everyone

My parents had the house painted earlier this week, and today when I was wasing my car I noticed white droplets of paint on the hood and fenders. How can I remove this stuff??? After I washed the car I tried Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound, didn't come off. I just recently bought this stuff:

Meguiar's Sratch X Remover
Meguiar's Polish Step 2
Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax
Turtle Wax Color Polish (black)

my car is black, so the paint marks are quite obvious, what will do the trick?

I even tried the Meguiar's Sratch remover, no luck!

Thanks in Advance

are you able to take your fingernail and scrape small amounts of the paint off....?

you might try some bug and tar remover..... let set for about 5 min....

REMEMBER you'll need to put several coats of wax back on because the bug and tar remover is gonna strip all the wax off....

The housepaint is prolly oil based and not latex, so it'll be a bitch getting them off. I would say use a paint thinner or something to get it off but I'm not sure what theat might do to your wax, clearcoat or paint.

Anyone?

I honestly wouldn't put anything stronger than bug and tar remover.... and i ussually never use bug and tar remover unless i have too.... Its really harsh to the finish, but i dont see any other choice for you. just make sure you have some good wax to protect the finish after you get the house paint off. when you smell that bug and tar remover your gonna think its gasaline or thinner anyways...LOL Good luck...

BTW... i have had this happen to me too and yes the bug and tar remover worked... but that was also the the day after it happened...
