obd1 to obd2

what all am i gonna need if i want to put a 97 gsr motor in a 92 hatch? i believe i will need the obd1 ecu and also some kind of harness? anyhting else and where can i find the harness unliss it is just a obd1 harness?

If you want to swap in an OBD2 engine into an OBD1 chasis, you're already getting rid of the major OBD1 components, the engine and ECU. Simply do a few wiring mods and get all the OBD2 components and you'll have yourself an OBD2 car like it should be for legalities sake.

You don't need to rewire anything. Plus ALL 92 civics have the wires for vtec, pretty cool eh:)

You only need an OBDI P72 ECU and it will be OBDI. Plugs are the same, everything is the same except the ECU.
