Hello, I have a 1998 4dr Contour, for a good while; like around a year or more, the speedometer and fuel gauge would sometimes quit. They would do this at the same time, and come back a short time later or the next time I drove it. Then they quit about a month ago and haven't came back. I was gonna change the "Speed Sensor" but what about the fuel gauge? What do they have in common? Does anyone know if the use the same (-)ground? If so, where is it most likely located? Or am I way off base, thinking of a ground? Any suggestions or Ideas would greatly be Appreciated! Thank You!
