I need help on front brake rotor removal on my 96 explorer 4wd. I have removed the brake pads, caliper and a bracket, also the 3 stud lock- washers. How do I remove the rotor? Do I have to remove the nut or does the rotor just come off. I tried to hammer the back of the rotor but nothing happens.
Thanks in advance

I had the same problem. I had to use a sleg hammer and hit the bottom face side of the rotor from the front. It broke it lose and fell off.

You can also use PB Blaster penetrate, let it soak over night
