Water in Rocker Panel

I have a '98 sebring conv. and every time it rains water gets into the drivers side rocker panel. I have searched for the drain holes that everyone says get clogged up and have yet to find them. I was wondering if anyone could explain exactly where they are or send a picture showing their location. Also, is there anything that can be done to keep water from getting into there?

I have had the same problem and I know it's a pain the butt. Not only will it make your car stink but it also will discolor the carpet. I've been trying to get the stains out of mine all summer without much luck. To find the drain holes.... They are located on the outermost lip of the undercarriage of the car, basically directly below the doors... This 'lip' is the same lip that you might use to position the jack on when lifting the car. The lip is essentialyl two pieces of metal that are welded together and the drains are places where the metal pieces are not fused. To find the drains you just need to run your fingers along this lip and you'll feel the drains, they are wider than the rest of the lip and there is a slot in them ... The drains themselve are no longer than a quarter and I'd guess the slot would be about the length of a nickle or penny (and not much wider, that slot is very narrow). When you find the slot, take a wire cleaner or a thing piece of wire and jam it up into the slot... The slot slants so make sure you go at it from an angle (I don't remember if it slants towards the front or rear). I have a 97 sebring and mine has 3 on each side. One of them is located almost directly below where the door and the rear quarter panel meet. These are the only drains I have been able to locate, and I keep my clean and I still get water in my backseat, but not as frequently or severly. I hope this helps... If you still can't find them let me know and I'll try to take some pics and post them.

I have looked and looked and never noticed the 3 sections that weren't fused. I just figured that they were part of the awful manufacturing job that Chrysler does. Now I know what and where they are for the next big rain. Thanks for the reply!!
