throttle body spacersArnzCardz 08-01-2005, 08:25 PM I have a 99 GMC Jimmy, 4.3 Vortec. I am looking at a catalog that claims throttle body spacers will give up to 22 hp gain, 4 mpg and 25 ft/lbs more torque. Are they pulling my leg or what?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance. They are 1 inch and design creates a spiral flow. ZL1power69 08-02-2005, 10:20 AM spacers are a good bang for the buck. normal gains are 5-15hp depending on the engine. you may pic up 1-2 mpg at best. hope this helps. Actually will decrease economy and is a complete waste of money. ArnzCardz 08-03-2005, 06:23 PM Not on a 4.3L. Actually will decrease economy and is a complete waste of money. Thanks BlazerLT. I'll just have to pass.. BlazerLT 08-03-2005, 11:52 PM Thanks BlazerLT. I'll just have to pass.. Smart man, the money can be spent on better mods. ZL1power69 08-04-2005, 12:36 AM guess it depends on engine. 80-90 bucks could be spent on something better. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
