ABS Light...

I recently replaced the driver side rear hub/bearing assembly on my 1995 Grand Am SE (3.1L 6cyl). Up until recently I had no interest in cars and no knowledge of them at all. I still got a lot to learn actually...as I had to have someone remind me how to put the tire back on right (tire, hub cap, THEN bolts...).

Anyways, my problem...Since finishing the work my ABS light comes on while driving. It doesnt stay on when I first start the car, but it comes on SOMETIMEs after the car has bounced around a little. Only thing I can assume is that I didn't connect it properly (the abs) when I was done. However I have felt around underneath and it feels like it is in place just fine. Could there be something I am missing?

This is the part I used and purchased from Advance Auto Parts:

I will also admit that when I replaced the assembly I replaced all bolts as they had been rusted to hell. However I did not replace them with torx head bolts, but instead with hex-nuts. I also need to go back in and put lock washers on...but hey not bad overall for a first time do it yourself project right?

Check to see that the sensor is plugged in right. If it is you may have a sensor going bad in that particular wheel. You will want to have the computer scanned with a scan tool while the light is on and this should identify the actual problem for you. Welcome to the Forum!
